Maka Albarn: Introduction
Maka Albarn the Japanese name is Maka Aruban is one of the two-star Meister at the death weapon Meister Academy, and she is also a former member of the Spartoi. She is the daughter of the death weapons partner spirit Albarn, she was inspired to be the scythe Meister much like her mother after witnessing her father cheating techniques and partnered with demons’ scythe, Soul Eater to create the death weapons more strong and powerful than her father. She was voiced by the Chiaki Omigawa in the Japanese version of the anime series and by the Laura bailey in the English dubbed version of the same.
Maka Albarn: Background
Around the similar time when the Black Star was born, which was around thirteen years prior to the beginning of the Soul Eater, Maka was also born to an 18-year-old Spirit Albarn and his unknown and unnamed wife. Throughout her whole childhood, Maka became so displeased with her father’s behaviour as he started cheating on his wife, which led that to a strain between the two of them.

Appearance
Maka is somewhat petite, being between the twelve to thirteen years of age in the first part of the series, according to Spirit’s statement to the little Maka and Sid’s flashback and memories that she was born on the similar day the infant Black Star was taken in by, and in fourteen to fifteen years of age in the second part of the series, and according to Giriko. Maka’s initial attire is a typical schoolgirl outfit, and she wears a trench coat with a cloak-like end- that constantly fits its shape in several parts of both the manga and anime series, a white blouse with a yellow sweater vest, a striped, green tie, a red-coloured plaid skirt, and black boots with the white buckles. When using the Soul, she usually wears the white gloves.
Maka’s has a huge forest green eyes and has an ash blonde hair which she keeps in the pigtails, although there are sometimes at her house where she will wear them in the buns or straight down or sometimes styled it on the formal occasions.
At near the end of the manga series, Maka changes from her Spartoi attire back to her real and original black coat, red-colour skirt, and pair of black boots. She decides to change her back into the old clothes to show that she is no longer a member of the Spartoi. In the second ending to the anime series, Style, Maka wears a very different type of outfit. She is often shown wearing red shoes, long socks that goes up to her skirt- one of the socks are having the stripes and the other are having stars, and darker red skirt with a white stripe across all over the top, a yellow jacket with the stripes, and a white tee-shirt. Maka’s soul, when seen by Stein, it has an orange-like colour.
